About Indian Banking Sector: The First Banking in India was the Bank of Hindustan situated in 1770. The SBI Bank is the Largest Bank in India. This SBI bank was one of the three banks which are funded by Presidencies of British India Government. The other two are the Bank of Bombay and the Bank of Madras which was started after the SBI Bank.
