Bihar TET Syllabus 2019, BETET Exam Pattern, BTET Sample Paper PDF : Bihar Elementary Teacher Eligibility Test (BETET) commonly known as Bihar TET is held every year in the month of July or August for the aspiring candidates who wish to become teachers in primary ( I – V class) and upper primary ( VI-VIII class) schools run by the government and private managements in the state of Bihar.

TET is a mandatory examination for all the B.Ed. Qualified candidates who want to pursue teacher’s job in the schools. This exam is conducted by the Government of Bihar and the BETET 2019 notification will be released by the Department of School Education, Bihar or the concerned examination board decided by the government of Bihar.

Bihar TET 2019 Syllabus

  • Exam Name: Bihar Elementary Teacher Eligibility Test (BETET)
  • Exam Duration: 1.5 hours
  • Total Questions:150 Objective Type Questions
  • Total Marks: 150

Other Details: Bihar TET consists of two objective type question papers. The details of the papers are as follows:

  1. Paper I : For primary class (I-IV) applicants
  2. Paper II : For upper Primary class ( V-VIII) applicants
  3. Paper I & II: for those candidates who are interested in teaching from class I –VIII.

BETET Paper I Syllabus:-

  • Child Development and Pedagogy
  • Language-I (Malayalam/ Kannada/ Tamil)
  • Language-II (English/ Arabic)
  • Mathematics
  • Environment Studies

BETET Paper II Syllabus:-

  • Child Development and Pedagogy
  • Language-I
  • Language-II

Bihar TET 2019 Qualification Marks: A Bihar TET applicant who scores 60% or more marks in the Bihar TET Exam 2019 will be considered as BETET pass. Though, Bihar Government may offer concessions to the candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, Disabled, etc. according to the Reservation Policies in Bihar.
