CDS Eligibility Criteria 2018:

Educational Qualification: The interested contenders who are applying for UPSC CDS 2018 should have to following educational qualification. The course wise academic qualification details are provided below.

Indian Military Academy: The Applicants should pass graduation or equivalent degree from recognized board or institute.

Indian Naval Academy: The aspirants should have to complete their degree in Engineering. The engineering degree should pass with good marks

Indian Air Force Academy: The candidates who are applying for Indian Air Force should posses B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. with good marks.

Officers Training Academy (Women and Men): The applicants should have pass graduation from recognized university or institute.

Age Limit/Marital Status: The age and marital status CDS Eligibility Criteria 2018 for CDS Applicants should be as according to the following description.

Indian Military Academy and Indian Naval Academy: Only the Male and Unmarried candidates can apply for IMA Course. The minimum age of applicants should be 20 years and maximum age should be 24 years means the applicants who born between 2nd July 1993 and 1st July 1998 are eligible.

Air Force Academy (AFA): only the Male and Unmarried candidates are eligible to apply for AFA Course. The age should be 20 years to 24 years on 1st July 2018. The applicants should be born in between 2nd July 1993 and 1st July 1997. The candidates who have Commercial Pilot License will get age relaxation in maximum age up to 2 years.

Officers Training Academy for Men: Both Married and Unmarried Male candidates can apply for OTA Course and must be born in between 2nd July 1992 and 1st July 1998.

Officers Training Academy for Women: The married, Unmarried Female and issueless widows can apply for OTA for women course. The applicants should born in between 2nd July 1992 and 1st July 1998.

Nationality: The applicants should be citizen of India. The Tibetan refugee who settled in India before 1st January 1962 is eligible to apply. The applicants who are migrated from Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam but settled in India. The candidates who  are Gorkha subjects of Nepal also eligible.

CDS Eligibility Criteria 2018 Physical Standard: The Physical Fitness of candidates should be norms of UPS CDS. The applicants should not be posses any defects or any disease. The minimum height of Male candidates should be 157.5 cm for Army, 157 cm for Navy and 162.5 cm for Air Force. The minimum height of female applicants should be 152 cm. The candidates who belong to North Eastern hills of India, Garhwali and Kumaon will get height relaxation of 5 cm. The candidates who belong to Lakshadweep Island will get 2 cm age relaxation.

Selection Process: The applicants of CDS Admission 2018 will be selected on the basis of Written Test and Personnel Interview.
